A lot had been made of the quarterbacks that could change teams in 2020 NFL free agency, but a few marquee wide receivers are also unsigned for next season. A 2019 Pro Bowler, a former All-Pro and a player that competed in Super Bowl LIV might all hit the open market.

Here are the five best wide receivers that are headed for free agency.

A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals

Few receivers had been more consistent than Green before injuries cost him all of last season and half of 2018. The 31-year-old ranks seventh all-time with 80.2 yards per game. He made the Pro Bowl in each of his first seven seasons. Green’s age and inability to stay healthy will keep him from getting a massive contract. The Bengals might use the franchise tag on Green.

Amari Cooper, Dallas Cowboys

Dallas’ offense immediately improved when the team traded for Cooper in the middle of the 2018 season. Cooper has averaged 76.6 yards per game with 14 touchdowns in 25 contests with the Cowboys. He’s made the Pro Bowl in four of his five NFL seasons. Dallas probably doesn’t want to let the 25-year-old walk in free agency after the team gave up a first-round pick for him. If the Cowboys use the franchise tag on Dak Prescott, they could use the transition tag on Cooper, giving them the ability to match any offer the receiver gets.

Robby Anderson, New York Jets

Anderson isn’t a No.1-caliber receiver like Green and Cooper. He’s never reached the 1,000-yard mark in his four NFL seasons, averaging just under 50 yards per game in both 2019 and his career. The 26-year-old can be very productive, putting up decent numbers despite poor quarterback play. Anderson was in trade rumors last year, and he could get an offer that puts him out of the Jets’ price range.

Emmanuel Sanders, San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco made the best move before the 2019 trade deadline by acquiring Sanders from the Denver Broncos. The 32-year-old had 36 catches for 502 yards in 10 games with the 49ers, ranking second among the team’s wide receivers. Sanders isn’t the Pro-Bowl player he was a few years ago, but the veteran is a weapon that could certainly help a contender.

Breshad Perriman, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The 2015 first-round pick has fallen short of expectations, never recording more than 645 yards in a season. He offered a glimpse of his potential toward the end of 2019 when he finished the year with three straight 100-yard games. The 26-year-old benefited from Tampa Bay’s offense, playing in the league’s No.1 passing attack. Perriman’s big-play ability will attract suitors. He had a catch of at least 27 yards in each of the final six games last season.
