The 2021 NFL Draft could be historic in terms of the quarterbacks taken on Day 1. Quarterbacks are expected to be taken with the first three picks, and five quarterbacks could be off the board before the 10th pick.

Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence and BYU’s Zach Wilson are practically a given to go first and second overall, respectively. The San Francisco 49ers will reportedly choose between Alabama’s Mac Jones and North Dakota State’s Trey Lance. The quarterback who isn’t taken, along with Ohio State star Justin Fields, could be gone well before the halfway point of the first round.

Don’t be surprised if one or more teams trade up to draft a quarterback. It’s worked out well for teams in recent memory. The Kansas City Chiefs traded up to pick Patrick Mahomes. The Buffalo Bills did the same to land Josh Allen.

Here’s a look at the latest mock draft for the entire first round, including a trade prediction.
