The San Francisco 49ers are all set to start training camp for the 2019-20 NFL season with head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch looking to show something better once more. Both are entering the third year of their six-year pacts. So far, both have managed to lead the team to a measly 10-22 mark which is far from impressive.

Hence, it comes to no surprise that the 49ers brain thrust enter the 2019-20 NFL season with a lot of pressure. Shanahan and Lynch will have to do the necessary tweaks and hope that they have the proper players for the coming season. With so much on the line, it seems that rifts from within have already surfaced - further compounding the potential woes of the 49ers for the coming season.

Unnamed sources told Tyler Dunne that there appears to be a certain disconnect between the coaching staff and the scouts. The two need to work well together for the 49ers to be able to get the right players -- particularly the fresh ones from the NFL Draft. But with the former getting overruled by the coaching staff, it generally seems like the latter's efforts have either gone for naught or waste.

Among the questionable NFL Draft choices include Solomon Thomas, Joe Williams, and Nick Bosa. It turns out that some of these players were not recommended by scouts but Shanahan pushed for the selection. Williams was not even on the draft board at the time and yet got the nod because the 49ers coach reportedly loved him.

Seeing how the 49ers are entering a possibly critical year, finger-pointing is expected to happen if San Francisco fails to gain any headway. The issue could die down if the 49ers (vastly) improve for the coming NFL season, now looming as a tall order unless Shanahan has some ingenious plan up his sleeves.

Of course, there are plenty of other things to address. That includes the health of Jimmy Garropolo and who his backup will be as well as who the starting running back will be for this NFL season, 49ers.com reported. Also, it will be interesting if they will improve their pass-rush game. They did add Dee Ford and Nick Bosa plus Arik Armstead and DeForest Buckner to address all that. With the changes done, it will be interesting if San Francisco finally rises. If not, heads may roll at the end of 2019-20 NFL season.
