The Washington Redskins, New York Giants and Miami Dolphins are among teams that could land a new starting quarterback on Day No.1 of the 2019 NFL Draft. They just might have to make a trade in order to acquire the players they want.

All three of those teams have been at the center of trade rumors in the hours leading up to the start of the first round. The Giants have the highest selection at No. 6 overall. The Dolphins have the 13th overall pick and the Redskins are up at 15th.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Washington is one of the few teams that is seriously considering trading into the top 10. The Redskins could be looking to jump ahead of the rival Giants in hopes of stealing the quarterback New York might select.

Washington has been linked to both Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins and Duke’s Daniel Jones. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a potential trade partner for the Redskins with the No.5 pick.

There is increased speculation that the Giants will take a defensive player with the sixth pick. New York could go for a quarterback with the 17th selection, though they might try to trade for last year's 10th pick.

With the Arizona Cardinals expected to take Kyler Murray at the top of the draft, quarterback Josh Rosen is likely on the trade block. The price for Rosen might only be a second or third-rounder.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Giants and Dolphins have both spoken with the Cardinals about possibly trading for Rosen.

Giants general manager Dave Gettleman has said he hopes to leave the draft with a quarterback. Miami is in need of a young quarterback since Ryan Fitzpatrick will be their starter next year.
