Several netizens and fans of Minaj reacted to her recent announcement. Their surprise and obvious excitement about her pregnancy resonated in Twitter and as evidence of their uncontained joy, #Preggers went viral on the said social media platform.

Over the past months, there have been circulating rumors that Minaj was pregnant. The “Trollz” singer, however, did not confirm or deny the said rumors, Daily Mail reported.

Minaj shared a snap on her Instagram to promote “Trollz” on June 13, where she announced that her latest song with rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine ranked first in 50 countries.

At that time, Minaj wore a daring outfit — high-waist silver shorts with colorful stars covering the tip of her breasts. After Minaj’s #Preggers reveal, several netizens revisited the said snap.

“Everybody knew she was pregnant here,” one netizen said.

“You can tell she’s preggers right here,” another said.

“Some time ago when I saw this picture, I had already said she was pregnant,” one of her followers added.

Minaj, 37, is married to Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, 42. Minaj’s husband was convicted of attempted rape in 1995, BBC reported.

The officials reportedly said that Petty was released on a $100,000 bail after handing himself over to the U.S. Marshals in Los Angeles over allegations of failing to register as a sex offender after his move from California to New York.

Petty and Minaj reportedly dated in 2018 and got married in 2019. The “Bang Bang” singer revealed the nuptials on an Instagram post and captioned the same with her full name Onika Tanya Maraj hyphenated Petty and the date Oct. 21, 2019.
