Nicola Peltz has shared an emotional message on social media amid rumors that she's in a feud with her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham.

Brooklyn Beckham's wife took to Instagram Friday to share a photo in which she appeared to have tears running down her face while sitting on a bed, as well as a close-up shot of her swollen eyes.

"Sometimes I find it hard to show the sad bits of me," the 27-year-old actress began her lengthy caption.

Peltz explained that growing up with seven siblings — one sister and six brothers — and "two very strong parents" had made her "really tough" and that her family "hammered it into [her] to not let people bring [her] down or hurt [her] heart."

She then confessed that she put a wall up to protect herself, especially after entering the entertainment industry

"We all have days where people make you feel bad and it's okay to be hurt by it," Peltz continued. "I just thought I would write something because I never show this side of me here. I wanted to show this side of me. I love you all so much and truly appreciate all of your support."

Peltz stressed that it means a lot to her when people are "kind on [her] page."

"I see you, I hear you, and it means a lot to me," she told her followers.

The "Transformers" star received many supportive comments from her loved ones and followers, including her husband of four months.

"You have the most amazing heart," Brooklyn commented on her post. "I love you so so much."

Her brother, actor Will Peltz, left a red heart emoji, while Selma Blair gushed over her moving encounter with the "Bates Motel" star.

"Beautiful Nicola, many years ago we met, and of course, I was transfixed. On your kindness. On your grace," Blair wrote in the comments section of Peltz's post. "I was weak and tired and older than your crowd, and you listened. Forever, I will consider you an angel child. In whatever mood or feeling you are under or in. Sending an embrace."

Peltz thanked the "Cruel Intentions" star for her support. "Selma, I can't even put into words how much your kind message means to me," she wrote, adding that Blair was "so special" to her and that she felt lucky to know the older actress.

Peltz's emotional Instagram post comes not long after Page Six reported, citing an unnamed insider close to the Beckhams, that there is an ongoing feud between the actress and her fashion designer mother-in-law. International Business Times could not independently verify this information.

The alleged tension reportedly began in the lead-up to Peltz's wedding to Brooklyn, Victoria's eldest son with husband David Beckham, in April. The daughter of New York billionaire Nelson Peltz allegedly didn't want her mother-in-law to be part of the planning and "wouldn't clue Victoria in on anything," according to the source.

Peltz and Victoria allegedly "can't stand each other and don't talk," the insider claimed, describing the build-up to the nuptials as "horrendous."

The alleged drama between Brooklyn's mom and wife may have affected his own relationship with his parents. The Beckhams haven't spoken to their eldest son much in the last few months, the source claimed.

Brooklyn and Peltz tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Peltz's family estate in Palm Beach, Florida, on April 9. The couple is reportedly currently living at her bachelorette apartment in Los Angeles.
