After Nikki Bella and John Cena announced their decision to end their engagement, the “Total Divas” star took some time to focus on herself. Following her journey, she began dating her “Dancing With the Stars” partner, Artem Chigvintsev, and the two became engaged in November 2019.

However, since announcing their engagement on Jan. 3, Bella has not been spotted with her engagement ring. While some speculated her missing ring may be due to doubts over her failed engagement with Cena, Bella explained why she hasn’t been wearing the trinket.

On the Wednesday episode of “The Bellas Podcast,” the WWE star revealed there was an issue with her engagement ring. “I love my ring. That’s why I’m dying for the jeweler to get it sized and fixed. I want to start wearing it,” she said.

Although Bella loves her newest accessory, Chigvintsev admitted that he struggled to find the perfect diamond for the “Total Bellas” star. “I know Nicole loves, you know, big expensive things and so does a lot of women out there,” he explained.

“And, as a man, you want to try to give what you think she deserves,” he added.

While Chigvintsev is confident about his future with Bella, he admitted he can’t pinpoint the day he knew she was the one. “When did I know that I wanted to propose? I can’t recall a specific day,” he confessed.

“But I remember this feeling in my mind thinking that, you know, I just don’t see myself being by myself, living without Nicole,” he said.

Since Chigvintsev couldn’t imagine his life without Bella, he knew he had to secure their future together.

“So, part of it is because I love her, and I just feel this was the perfect decision to make, you know? Because, I’ll be honest with you, I just don’t see myself waking up and for her not to be here,” he continued.

For now, fans will have to wait for Bella’s engagement ring to be adjusted before they can see her flaunting the diamond given to her by her new fiancé.
