The holiday season continues to get off to a festive start on Lifetime, with the premiere of the Kyla Pratt and Ed Ruttle led movie “No Time Like Christmas,” which debuts on Sunday.

The two stars are each starring in their second Christmas films for Lifetime after making their respective debuts in 2018. Pratt previously started in “The Christmas Pact,” while Ruttle appeared in “Christmas Lost and Found.” Now, the two are joining forces in a new film about first loves that might really be forever.

“After Emma (Pratt) finds her college boyfriend’s engraved watch at a vintage jewelry shop, her sister Bronwyn (Rachel McLaren) believes it is a sign, and decides to secretly play cupid by sending Emma to the same bed and breakfast in Vermont that Fletcher (Ruttle) is staying at one week before Christmas,” the film’s synopsis reads. “However, upon arrival, Emma is not only shocked to bump into her first love after all these years, but also his vivacious daughter.”

After the initial shock of seeing one another again wears off, the two quickly team up for a project, and it isn’t long before they realize that they may still have a spark years later—one that never really died out.

“Throughout the week, the two fight their feelings for one another as they plan a Christmas Eve show in hopes of saving the local theater,” the synopsis reads.

With the holiday season and spirit behind them, a matchmaker working to give them the push they need and perhaps a little bit of fate working in their favor, Christmas could quickly find Emma and Fletcher the best gift of all—rekindled love.

The film is produced by Howard Braunstein Films. Jim O’Heir also stars

“No Time Like Christmas” airs Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.
