Obama Eases Myanmar Sanctions
U.S. president Barack Obama formally eased sanctions on Myanmar, allowing American oil and gas companies to invest in the troubled South East Asian nation.
Despite the move, Myanmar's leader President Thein Sein told the Financial Times on Thursday that democratic reforms were being hindered by continuing sanctions by the U.S. and other nations.
