KEY POINTS

  • Odell Beckham Jr. may be ready to play NFL football by mid-November
  • The Chiefs loom as strong contenders to sign Beckham
  • The Bills and Rams could be other landing spots for him

Odell Beckham Jr. remains on the mend as he recuperates from an ACL injury.

So far, there remains no clarity on where the three-time Pro Bowler may be playing next.

Multiple teams could make sense for the 29-year-old wide receiver.

But one NFL team that is reportedly considered a strong contender is the Kansas City Chiefs according to Aaron Wilson of the Pro Football Network.

Beckham split last NFL season with the Cleveland Browns and Los Angeles Rams, catching 44 passes for 537 yards to go with five touchdowns.

Aside from that, he was also a key figure in the playoffs for the Rams with 21 catches for 288 yards and two scores.

As far as his status is concerned, the projected time when Beckham can return would be by mid-November.

Hence, the interest in the Super Bowl champion wide receiver is expected to further grow.

Just recently, Beckham responded to a question by former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant.

He asked the 2014 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year whether he would be headed to the Chiefs or Buffalo Bills.

Bryant responded with emojis, apparently trying to avoid answering the question.

But should the 12th-round pick of the 2014 NFL Draft end up heading to Kansas, he would join a team that is first in scoring despite losing Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins.

He would instead play alongside quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce.

Furthermoe, he would join a group of wide receivers that include JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Mecole Hardman and Skyy Moore.

Beyond the Chiefs, Beckham could be convinced to consider a return to the Rams or join the Bills.

Von Miller and Jalen Ramsey have publicly sent feelers for the Louisiana native to suit up for either the Bills or Rams respectively.

In all, Beckham will not fall short of options.

Although he is currently undergoing rehabilitation, there is no telling if he already has a preferred destination in mind as the NFL heads to its Week 7.
