Olivia Wilde, the famous New York City sweetheart, unveiled the 25,000 crystal Swarovski star that will don the top of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree this holiday. The shining starlet introduced the Swarovski star, which weights 550 pounds and is equipped with 720 LED lights, this afternon.

Swarovski is a luxury crystal retailer based out of Austria. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Swarovski ornament donning the towering Norway spruce outside of 30 Rock. The 74-foot-tall tree is already standing in the Fifth Ave. Plaza, but it's still surrounded by scaffolding.

The tree will be officially unveiled and lit at on Nov. 30. The ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. Performancers include ice skaters, the Radio City Rockettes, an appearance by Olivia Wilde and a performance by teen sensation Justin Bieber.
