The long-rumored successor to the OnePlus One smartphone that was released in April 2014 is still under the wraps, but promotion campaigns from the Chinese manufacturer indicate it will be called the OnePlus 2.

OnePlus has already started two promotional campaigns for OnePlus 2. Both of them let users preview the OnePlus 2 before its release.

Photo Mania 2015

The first offer is “Photo Mania 2015,” a contest that requires users to snap photos and send them to the @oneplustech Instagram account without editing or adding filters. According to OnePlus forums, senders also must give details like lighting, settings and more on the how photo was captured.

On the basis of the likes gained on Instagram and the technical expertise of OnePlus team, 10 winners will be chosen. One of the winners will get a chance to visit OnePlus headquarters in Hong Kong on an all-expenses-paid-trip to try the all new OnePlus 2. To participate in the contest, OnePlus fans are required to submit their entries through the online form. The contest will expire at noon EDT on Monday.

Your OnePlus Story

The “Your OnePlus Story” contest requires participants to make a video story featuring them, states another OnePlus forums thread. Contestants can create a video to say something to OnePlus, or express what they love about the company and what they expect from the OnePlus 2.

OnePlus wants participants to send in videos; the entries will be judged on the basis of the quality of the video, how the video was produced and the uniqueness of the content. One winner will be chosen by OnePlus and the other one by its community.

In this contest too, OnePlus will choose a winner to fly to its headquarters to get an hands-on experience of the OnePlus 2 flagship. Eight other winners will receive gift bags from the company. This offer also expires on Monday. To participate, users are required to submit their entries here.
