OnePlus 7 Rumored Leaked Images Hint Notch-Less Design; Pop-Up Selfie Camera Spotted

OnePlus is expected to announce the OnePlus 7 flagship phone by the second quarter of the year since it had announced the OnePlus 6 smartphone in May last year. A leaker with Twitter account @Steven_Sbw has shared two images of the rumored OnePlus 7 smartphone. Unlike the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T phones that came with notched screens in 2018, the rumored OnePlus 7 can be seen sporting a notch-less display.

In the images shared by the leakster, the alleged OnePlus 7 can be seen sporting a slight thick bottom bezel. However, the rest of the bezels surrounding the display are very thin. The inclusion of the notch-less display indicates that the smartphone will be offering a very high screen-to-body ratio. The right edge of the phone seems to be equipped with an Alert key and a power button. The volume buttons can be seen on the left.

The new photo shared by the tipster suggested that the upcoming OnePlus 7 could be equipped with a pop-up selfie camera. However, an earlier image that was shared by the tipster hinted that the phone could be featuring a slider mechanism like the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3.

There is a possibility that the leaked images may belong to the early prototypes of the upcoming OnePlus 7 smartphone. Since there is on concrete evidence to prove the authenticity of the leaked images, it is advisable to wait for newer reports to confirm on the design of the OnePlus 7.

There is no information available on the specifications of the OnePlus 7. The only thing that is known about the smartphone is that it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 855 mobile platform. Some reports have claimed that it could be the first OnePlus phone to arrive with triple rear cameras.

According to NDTV, the Chinese manufacturer will be also launching a 5G smartphone this year. It is speculated that it could be the 5G variant of the regular OnePlus 7 smartphone. The prototype of the first 5G OnePlus phone is expected to be showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 tech trade show in Barcelona, Spain in the next week, XDA Developers reported.
