Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry may not have been together on Valentine’s Day, but the actor still had some love to share on the special day for lovers. The 40-year-old English actor took to social media to encourage his followers to find their match. Elsewhere, his girlfriend did a “really big shoot” for her upcoming album.

On Tuesday, Bloom posted on Instagram an infographic for “Meet Your Match” — the quiz that does not really lead one to meeting the person he or she is most compatible with, but instead helps one to find out which UNICEF advocacy he or she should champion. The “Lord of the Rings” actor has been part of UNICEF since 2007 and was even named Goodwill Ambassador of the nonprofit organization in 2009. Now, Bloom wants his fans to be part of the organization’s many advocacies as well.

In his Valentine’s Day post, Bloom urged his thousands of Instagram followers to try “Meet Your Match” in order for them to know which advocacies they should be supporting. Miranda Kerr’s ex-husband even noted in his post that countries affected by conflict and disasters are in need of advocates. He also mentioned how people who find their match through the program can unlock 50 cents that will go to the funds for the less-fortunate children all over the world.

While Bloom allotted his time to promote UNICEF, his girlfriend got into another controversy. The 32-year-old singer apparently provoked the ire of Britney Spears’ fans when she threw some shade at the 35-year-old “Toxic” hitmaker on a red carpet interview at the Grammys Sunday night.

When Perry was asked why she went on a hiatus from the music scene, she responded that the break was needed to maintain her mental health. She then said, “I haven’t shaved my head yet,” which clearly references the time Spears shaved her hair off in 2007.

In another instance, Perry remarked how she’s saving the chance to shave her head for the time she’s going to have a “public breakdown,” as pointed out by Fox News. Since making these statements, many of Spears’ fans called out Perry on social media and slammed her for making a joke out of mental illness.

In spite of receiving a lot of hate from Spears’ fans, Perry seems to be unaffected and is still keeping her cool. She even thanked her fans via Instagram and greeted them with a heartwarming message on Valentine’s Day. “You keep me floating and grounded all at the same time,” she wrote as caption to an animated greeting card for her Katy Cats.

Meanwhile, it isn’t clear if Perry and Bloom found a way to spend time with each other on Feb. 14. Perry told Extra on Monday that she does not have plans for Valentine’s Day because she was “doing a really big shoot that day.” She added that she’s not going to give details about it, but fans will surely love the final product. It’s quite likely that Perry was doing a shoot for her next album.

Unfortunately, as Perry works on her next musical endeavor and accepts more working engagements, she’s also sacrificing her romantic time with her beau. In fact, instead of being with Bloom at Malibu’s Soho House last Sunday, Perry attended and performed at the Grammys. The actor, meanwhile, was spotted relaxing at a private club alongside the scenic Pacific Ocean on his own, noted Daily Mail.
