Pete Davidson could no longer tolerate Kanye West's antics toward him and his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian.

Davidson, 28, had remained mum on West's social media tirades against him in the past months. However, he texted the "Donda" artist over the weekend to defend the "Keeping Up With the Kardashian" star after the "Heartless" rapper called her out over their 8-year-old daughter North's presence on TikTok.

"Pete stepped in because he couldn’t take seeing Kanye continue to throw Kim under the bus anymore," an unnamed source told Us Weekly. "He truly wants a one-on-one talk with Kanye and wants it to be handled privately."

The source added, "Pete and Kim continue to get harassed, and Pete’s had enough of seeing Kim being made out to be the villain. Pete didn’t want to text Kanye, but he was pushed to the limit."

On Sunday, "Saturday Night Live" guest writer Dave Sirus shared screenshots of the "King of Staten Island" star's SMS to West in a since-deleted post on Instagram. In his message, the "SNL" comedian introduced himself as "Skete" — West's nickname for him.

Davidson urged the Grammy winner to calm down because it was just 8 a.m. He defended his girlfriend, Kardashian, by reminding West, he was lucky the 41-year-old celebrity was the mom of his kids because "what she does for those kids is amazing."

"I've decided I'm not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I'm done being quiet. Grow the f--k up," he added.

West responded by pointing out Davidson's use of profanity. He also asked the comedian where he was at the time. Davidson clapped back at the "Gold Digger" rapper by sharing a shirtless selfie under the covers and wrote, "In bed with your wife."

West felt that Kardashian's current boyfriend was bragging about sleeping with her. He also expressed concern about who was looking after their kids.

Amid their exchange, Davidson offered to help West with his mental struggles because he also experienced the same. He even suggested that they met in person if the rapper "wanna stop being a little internet bi--h boy and talk" because he was in Los Angeles "for the day."

Davidson also told West that he wasn't scared of him despite the alleged threats against him in West's song and the disturbing video of his single "Eazy." However, Davidson also warned West to stop trashing them.

"I have your back even though you treat me like s--t because I want everything to be smooth. But if you continue to press me like you have for the past 6 months I'm gonna stop being so nice," he wrote.
