Pippa Middleton's newborn has some connection with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's daughter, Lilibet, according to a report.

Pippa has already given birth to her and husband James Matthews' third child. Pippa and Matthews have remained mum about their new baby, but an unnamed source told People they named their newborn Rose.

The name was reportedly derived from the Latin word "rosa," which refers to the flower, and ranked in the 61st spot of baby girl names of 2020 in England, according to NameBerry. The choice of name was also timely because Roses are June's birth month flower.

Though Kate Middleton's sister and brother-in-law have remained mum about the newest addition to their family, an unnamed source confirmed to People earlier this month that Pippa gave birth in the Lindo Wings of St. Mary's Hospital in London a couple of weeks prior, suggesting that the baby may have been born in June.

Also, Pippa was still seen with a baby bump in the first week of June. The Duchess of Cambridge's younger sibling was present at the star-studded "Party at the Palace" concert for the four-day festivities of Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee.

People noted that the name "Rose" has a sweet connection to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's daughter — both girls have flower-inspired names.

Prince Harry and Markle named their second child Lilibet, after Prince Harry's grandmother's childhood moniker. They also call her Lili, which is a nod to her mom, Doria Ragland, who reportedly lovingly called Markle "Flower."

In an entry in her now defunct lifestyle blog, The Tig, the former "Suits" star shared that she has numerous nicknames, writing "Meg, MM, M&M, and Flower (which my mom has called me since I was little)."

An unnamed source told Us Weekly this week that Kate "already met" her niece, and the Duchess of Cambridge found her "just gorgeous." She was also reportedly "overjoyed for her sister" and Matthews.

"Pippa is doing well since giving birth to Rose," the source added. "She and James are absolutely infatuated with their bundle of joy and are adapting well to being parents of three."

Pippa and Matthews are also parents to son Arthur, 3, and daughter Grace, 16 months.
