The second round of The Players Championship 2012 at TPC Sawgrass gets underway on Friday morning.

Day 2 of the golf tournament will be broadcasted on the Golf Channel, but you can also find a live stream available online here.

After the first round at The Players, Ian Poulter and Martin Laird sit atop the leaderboard with 7-under 65s. Both had strong opening rounds, but were quickly followed up by Blake Adams at 6-under and Ben Crane and Kevin Na at 5-under.

After the round Laird said that his primary goal was to not bogey any hole, which he managed to accomplish on Day 1.

I knew I hadn't made a 5 all day, and that was kind of a little goal I had, Laird told reporters. Nothing to do with getting to 7 under. It was, 'I don't want to make a 5 all day.'

On the other side of the spectrum was Tiger Woods, who has notoriously struggled at TPC Sawgrass, who opened up his tournament with a 2-over 74. Woods has never broken 70 in 15 years at The Players Championship, according to ESPN, and called Thursday's 7 just one of those days. He's in serious jeopardy of missing the projected cut of par for the second straight week.

Other notables in Round include Rory McIlroy, the world's No. 1 player, shot an even 72 and Phil Mickelson had a 1-under 71. Last year's champion K.J. Choi finished the first-round with a 3-over 75.
