"At PlaySide we are privileged to work with some pretty amazing partners. The @Shibtoken team has got to be one of the most amazing teams we’ve ever worked with. We enjoy every moment talking to @ShytoshiKusama @william_volk and the whole dev team," PlaySide Studios tweeted.

"We are building something truly great together and we can’t WAIT to show you what’s coming! #SHIBARMY," it tweeted. "Shiba Inu Games is just the beginning," the studio further said in a follow-up tweet.

The SHIB team first announced the Shiba Inu Games in November 2021, hyping its holders. The project is composed of two games divided into a classic mobile game and an NFT game that will utilize the Shiboshi NFTs.

Along with Willaim Volk, PlaySide Studios designed the mobile game to attract casual gamers. The game is said to feature in-app purchases just like all other mobile games available today.

The blockchain version of the Shiba Inu game will reportedly feature play-to-earn elements and will further add value to the Shiboshi NFTs. SHIB developer Shytoshi Kusama earlier said that the Shiba Inu Game will be a multiplayer card game. It will feature 1000 SHIB-inspired cards and a special card based on the altcoin founder Ryoshi.

Shytosi earlier said that players will not need a Shiboshi NFT to play the game. "You won’t need an NFT to play the game," he mentioned. "It’ll be more a flex to even have a card," he said.

The Shiba Inu Games are expected to launch sometime in Q1 F72023, according to PlaySide Studios. Based on the Australian fiscal calendar, this means it could be out between July and September 2022.
