"Pokémon Sword and Shield" will launch globally this Nov. 15. However, the company behind "Pokémon Sword and Shield" has already released a list of Gen 8 Pokémons fans of the franchise can expect to see when the game comes out, including starter Pokémons.

Check out all the new Pokémon you should know about in the list below.

Grookey

Grookey is Gen 8’s grass-type starter and is described as a “mischievous Pokémon full of boundless curiosity.” Grookey is categorized as a chimp Pokémon who uses a stick that has gained special powers after being exposed to the powerful energy within Grookey’s body. It can also give energy to plants.

Scorbunny

Scorbunny is Gen 8’s fire-type starter Pokémon and is more commonly known as the “rabbit Pokémon.” This Pokémon uses its powerful legs to jump and run around its opponents to confuse and disorient them.

The soles of its feet can run very hot, making Scorbunnys kick an effective way to damage and burn opponents. Additionally, Scorbunny has a fire sac in its chest, which contains it viscous fire energy. If Scorbunny can raise his heart rate and body temperature high enough, the true power of its fire energy is awakened and greatly increases its physical capabilities.

Sobble

Sobble is Gen 8’s water-type starter Pokémon and is more commonly known as the “water lizard Pokémon.” This Pokémon is somewhat timid and attacks opponents while hiding itself in water. Sobble can camouflage itself when it touches any body of water and is known to use its sweat to disappear after getting nervous or embarrassed.

Additionally, this Pokémon's tears are so potent that they are capable of making others cry. Many remark Sobbles tears are as potent as 100 onions. This Pokémon will use its tears to disorient those around it so it can escape.

Wooloo

Wooloo is a normal-type Pokémon and is commonly known as the “sheep Pokémon.” This Pokémon is usually used for its wool as it grows at an increased rate. Their wool is used for carpet, clothing, and the like, and is very popular in the Galar region.

Gossifleur

Gossifleur is a grass-type Pokémon and is commonly known as the “flowering Pokémon.” This Pokémon prefers lands with clean air and water, and its pollen is known to have healing effects. Its pollen is commonly used to make a tea that is to be given to the children of the Galar region when they fall ill.

Eldegoss

Eldegoss is a grass-type Pokémon and is commonly known as the “cotton bloom Pokémon.” This Pokémon evolves from Gossifleur, and when it does, its head is covered in thick cotton fluff. This serves as a cushion to help protect Eldegoss’s head from damage.

Drednaw

Drednaw is a water/rock-type Pokémon and is commonly known as the “bite Pokémon.” It’s called the bite Pokémon as its sharp, jagged fangs are strong and sharp enough to bite through iron and rock.

Although it has an extremely heavy rock shell, this Pokémon has developed its muscles in such a way that allows it to move faster than expected.

Corviknight

Corviknight is a flying/steel-type Pokémon and is commonly known as the “raven Pokémon.” It is said that this Pokémon is the strongest one living in the skies of the Galar region. This Pokémon is often seen fearlessly soaring through the air, knowing that no Pokémon would be foolish enough to challenge it.

Zamazenta

Zamazenta is a yet to be known type legendary Pokémon. Little is known about this Pokémon save for the fact that its body is covered in what seems to be a shield. This Pokémons regal and majestic movements have the ability to overwhelm any opponent it faces.

Zacian

Zacian is a yet to be known type legendary Pokémon. Much like Zamazenta, little is known about Zacian save for the fact that it appears to carry a sword in its mouth. This Pokémon attacks so gracefully that opponents can’t help but be captivated by its movements.
