Michael Jackson's personal physician, Dr Conrad Murray, admitted to administering the powerful anesthetic propofol to the King of Pop just hours before he died and officials believe this injection is what may have ultimately caused Jackson's death.

Murray allegedly gave him an anesthetic drug to help him sleep just after midnight on the day he died, resulting in cardiac arrest, according to the Associated Press. Michael Jackson is reported to have depended on the drug for the past two years.

This doctor is in serious trouble, criminal defense attorney Roy Black told Good Morning America today, ABC News reported.

Murray is named in the manslaughter investigation, Federal drug agents and Los Angeles police detectives last week raided his Houston office.
