‘Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists’ Premiere: Meet The Cast Of Freeform Series

Say goodbye to Rosewood and hello to the posh world of Beacon Heights. When “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” premieres on Wednesday, Freeform will begin a new chapter in the “PLL” universe. While viewers will be introduced to a cast of new characters and a new storyline, loyal “PLL” fans will be treated to the return of a few familiar faces from the original series.

The “PLL” spinoff will follow a group of friends who find themselves entangled in a web of lies after the shocking murder of a classmate.

Before tuning into the premiere, meet the cast of “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.”

Sasha Pieterse as Alison Dilaurentis

Ali, who was Rosewood’s resident mean girl, will try to shake her bad habits by taking a job at Beacon Heights University. While she believes she can help the students who are under intense pressure to achieve perfection, she’ll realize Rosewood isn’t the only small town with secrets. Pieterse is best known for her work on the original “Pretty Little Liars” series which ran for seven seasons.

Janel Parrish as Mona Vanderwaal

Also, a Rosewood native, Mona heads to Beacon Heights to reinvent herself following the “Pretty Little Liars” finale in which she moved to Paris with her new dolls Alex (Troian Bellisario) and Mary (Andrea Parker). Prior to joining the “A” team, Parrish appeared in Broadway musicals like “Spring Awakening” and “Cruel Intentions,” and has landed roles in both film and television.

Sofia Carson as Ava Jalali

With dreams of making it big in the fashion world, Ava won’t be able to hide her dark past under stylish clothes for much longer. Carson’s lead role on the “PLL” spinoff comes after her portrayal of Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen in the Disney Channel original movies “Descendants” and “Descendants 2.” The third installment of the “Descendants” franchise is expected to be released in 2019.

Sydney Park as Caitlin Park-Lewis

Caitlin is expected to be the epitome of perfection due to her mother’s prominent position in the government, however, the athlete will struggle to live up to the high expectations. Viewers may recognize Park from her roles on shows like “The Walking Dead” and “Instant Mom.”

Eli Brown as Dylan Walker

Coming from a small town, the aspiring cellist will push himself to be the best at Beacon Heights. However, falling in with the wrong crowd could jeopardize Dylan’s chances of achieving perfection. Prior to landing his gig on “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists,” Brown appeared in small acting roles.

Kelly Rutherford as Claire Hotchkiss

As one of the most powerful people in Beacon Heights, Claire accepts nothing less than perfection and will go to great lengths to achieve it. Viewers may recognize Rutherford, who is best known for her role as Lily van der Woodsen in The CW hit series “Gossip Girl.”

Hayley Erin, TBD

The actress has been cast in an undisclosed role. While her character’s identity is unknown, viewers may recognize Erin from her time on the ABC soap opera “General Hospital,” where she played Kiki Jerome.

Graeme Thomas King as Jeremy Beckett

While little is known about Jeremy, he is expected to enter the “PLL” universe with a few secrets that may not stay buried. In the past, King had roles in films and TV movies.

Chris Mason as Nolan Hotchkiss

“PLL” fans may consider Nolan the male version of Ali due to his talent to manipulate others. Despite his ability to stay in control, his secrets will change the lives of everyone in Beacon Heights.
