Bailee Madison, who stars in the upcoming "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin," has recalled receiving encouraging messages from the show's original cast members before she filmed the series reboot.

Madison, 21, said Lucy Hale supported her throughout the whole casting process.

"Lucy's a dear friend of mine and was really with me through the whole process of finding out if I got to be a part of the show or not, and just held my hand through every step of the way, which meant the absolute world to me as a friend," Madison told ET in an exclusive interview.

"And just as someone I respect and have admired her for so many years. I remember being so nervous about the announcement and all of the beautiful ladies sent their love to me, and that meant the world. I know they're all really excited for us and excited to see what we get to do with the show. That support and blessing mean the absolute world," she added.

Hale played Aria in the show, which was developed by Marlene King based on Sara Shepard's novel series of the same name. The show ran from 2010 to 2017 on ABC. It also starred Shay Mitchell, Sasha Pieterse, Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Holly Marie Combs, Lucy Hale, Ian Harding and Bianca Lawson.

Mitchell, who played barista Emily Fields, also congratulated Madison for landing a part in the reboot and wrote, "Congrats babe!" on the latter's Instagram page last year.

Madison also received a piece of golden advice from Hale as she tackles her role in the drama.

"She just wanted me to enjoy it. I think she was just like, 'Enjoy every second and trust yourself, which is something that, as a young woman, it can be really hard to do in this business," Madison told the outlet.

The first three episodes of the reboot are set to drop on Thursday on HBO Max. The drama takes off 20 years after a series of tragic events affected Millwood, a small town not far from the original drama's setting. In the present day, a group of teenage girls, the main liars as they are called in the show, find themselves tormented by an unknown enemy - "A" who is exacting revenge for the mistakes committed by them and their mothers two decades ago.

The new show also stars Chandler Kinney as Tabby, Maia Reficco as Noa, Zaria as Faran and Malia Pyles as Minnie.
