“Pretty Little Liars” creator Marlene King is dreaming of a white Christmas – in Rosewood, of course! The hit ABC Family series is currently on hiatus, but the Liars will make an early return for their first ever holiday special.

The network has yet to announce the premiere date for Season 5 episode 13, “How the ‘A’ Stole Christmas,” however King is giving fans a chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming holiday drama. The series creator took to Instagram to share some exciting set photos that show Rosewood in a whole new light.

“I’m dreAming of a white ChristmAs,” King captioned the first set photo. The shot appears to be taken in the Rosewood High School courtyard that Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily frequent. However the courtyard is not full of students on lunch break – it’s full of snow! The white powder covers the ground, benches and shrubbery while the words “Happy Holidays” can be made out on the large window.

The second photo definitely doesn’t show Rosewood in the holiday spirit. “For those who have been asking for clues,” King posted. “#PLLChristmas.” The photo is taken inside what looks like a church. Pews can be seen in the background along with a half open coffin. Who is inside? “Pretty Little Liars” fans will have to wait to find out because the open casket is facing away from the camera.

The third and final behind-the-scenes shot that Marlene King posted on Instagram is actually a video. “The snow maker,” she simply captioned the photo. “#PLLChristmas.” A crew member can be seen hosing down some trees and fences with the white powder. While the location is not clear, the steps featured makes it appear as if it’s outside the house of one of the Liars.

“Pretty Little Liars” is skipping its annual Halloween episode for the Christmas special, however a fan appreciation episode will air during ABC Family’s “13 Nights of Halloween.” The “Pretty Little Liars” Christmas episode will air during ABC Family’s “25 Days of Christmas” event.
