Ready to jump five years forward? “Pretty Little Liars” is taking a big leap when the series returns for the second half of its sixth season on Tuesday, Jan. 12. And although the girls may look different, it sounds like they’re still battling “A” and keeping secrets.

The Season 6B premiere, episode 11, is titled “Of Late I Think of Rosewood.” ABC Family, which is switching its name to Freeform on Jan. 12, released a synopsis for the installment.

According to the episode description, viewers will reunite with Alison (Sasha Pieterse), Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and see what paths they took after uncovering the identity of “A.” And while every girl has moved on in her own way, “something happens in Rosewood that forces the group to go back to where it all started.” But what event could that possibly be?

A promo video previously released teases that Alison is in communication with CeCe (Vanessa Ray), who appears to be in a mental institution after police caught her. But while “A” is locked up, it sounds like someone else will take over the “game.”

“It’s happening again, isn’t it?” Spencer says in the trailer.

Things spiral out of control as clips show Ezra (Ian Harding) yelling at the Liars to leave his apartment. Another quick shot from the video features Toby holding a gun and Emily restrained in a hospital gown.

Whatever may be happening, the synopsis reveals that the girls will “join forces again.” But that doesn’t mean that things will return to the way they were.

“Relationships are put to the test as secrets are revealed,” the episode description continues. “Having matured over the past few years, these are not the same girls who left Rosewood. As new lies emerge – how will they push forward without going back?”
