Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s sweet photos in Australia have just been compiled amid Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s visit to the continent.

Matthew Kirkham, a journalist for Express, looked into some of the wonderful moments between the couple in 1983. Prince Charles and Princess Diana took 9-month-old Prince William along with them.

During their trip, the royal couple and their son traveled 23,061 miles and spent 41 days overseas. Kirkham noted how Princess Diana looked happy in almost all of her photos.

In one of the snaps, the Prince and Princess of Wales arrive at Sydney Opera House on board a car. Thousands of royal fans are waiting for them outside the venue. Princess Diana and Prince Charles had huge smiles on their faces as they wave to the massive crowd.

Princess Diana is also photographed carrying an adorable Prince William in her arms. She has a huge smile on her face, and it appears as though Prince Charles was trying to make his son laugh. He is also smiling in the photograph.

While in Australia, the royal couple also attended a charity ball. Princess Diana wore a blue ruffled dress, while Prince Charles wore his usual suit and tie. The couple was photographed dancing and smiling while at the gathering.

Prince Charles also held his wife’s hand while they were sitting outdoors in Newcastle. Princess Diana wore her pink long-sleeved dress and pink hat.

Other photos of Princess Diana without Prince Charles were also released. In one of the snaps, the Princess of Wales reaches out to a boy that is trying to give her flowers amid the thick crowds. The mom of two also received a bouquet of flowers from an adorable young girl during her trip to Adelaide, South Australia.

Princess Diana also posed with the winning team of lifeguards at a surf carnival in Australia.

Prince Harry and Markle are currently in Australia for their 16-day royal tour of the continent, as well as of New Zealand, Fiji, and the Kingdom of Tonga.
