Prince George has dressed like his dad, Prince William, on multiple occasions. Even though they are several years apart, Prince William’s style when he was a kid is still very much reflected in the clothes that his eldest son wears.

In 1987, Prince William joined Prince Charles while the latter played polo. The young boy was photographed wearing blue pants and a green jacket. He also held a red and green checkered umbrella over his head. Prince George wore clothes of the exact same color when he joined his family in last year’s Christmas card.

On May 19, 2018, Prince William was photographed wearing his royal uniform. Prince George attended the same royal event wearing a younger boys’ version of the iconic Blues and Royals uniform. At that time, Prince George also served as a page boy for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

In 1984, Prince William was photographed attending Prince Harry’s christening at Windsor Castle. In the snap, he is wearing a white collared shirt, blue shorts, and black shoes. In July 2018, Prince George attended Prince Louis’ baptism wearing a similar top since it was of the same color and it also featured the same Peter Pan collar.

Several years ago, Prince William was also photographed during his first day of school at Wetherby School. Even though Prince George didn’t go to the same school, the future King was also photographed on his first day at Thomas’s Battersea. Prince George’s uniform is quite similar to Prince William.

In 1985, Prince William posed for photographs inside Kensington Palace. In one of his snaps, the second in line the throne sits on a wooden rocking chair. In the photo, Prince William is wearing a blue checkered long-sleeved polo shirt. Two years ago, Prince George wore a checkered long-sleeves polo shirt when he joined his parents on their royal tour of Poland.

And when he was still young, Prince William was oftentimes photographed in a blue shirt and blue shorts. In 2016, Prince George wore the same attire when he posed for his birthday portrait on the grounds of Kensington Palace.
