Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship is going strong. In fact, the pair is even expected to attend Pippa Middleton’s wedding together this weekend. It is no surprise that many are expecting Prince William’s brother to pop the big question to the “Suits” star soon.

A royal insider recently claimed that Prince Harry has already gotten Queen Elizabeth’s approval to ask Markle to marry him. “The way it’s going, the engagement will probably happen this year. Harry has got approval from the Queen to propose to Meghan, he’s already had those conversations with Her Majesty. An engagement is imminent,” a source said, according to Mirror. “Harry has always had a good relationship with the Queen and they are an extremely close-knit family.”

Prince Harry and Markle made their first public appearance as a couple at a charity polo match on May 7. The event aimed to raise funds and awareness for the royal princes’ charities like Tusk Trust. “Their Royal Highnesses have taken part in polo fixtures in support of their charities since 2007 and have continued each year since, raising over £10 million ($13 million) for charitable causes to date,” the Kensington Palace announced at the time.

After the polo match, Markle and Prince Harry were spotted hugging and kissing in the parking lot before the actress left the venue, ABC News reported.

Unfortunately, attending the charity event meant that Markle had to miss her best friend Serena Williams’ baby and bridal shower. “Meghan had been planning to go to Miami this weekend for Serena’s shower. The girls are really close and Serena was looking forward to seeing her,” an insider told The Sun. “But at the last minute, Meg bailed and went to see Harry in the UK instead.”

Markle and Williams became friends back in February 2014 when they played a game of flag football during DIRECTV’s Celebrity Beach Bowl. Markle and the tennis champ hit it off immediately and became buddies instantly. “She quickly became a confidante I would text when I was traveling, the friend I would rally around for her tennis matches, and the down to earth chick I was able to grab lunch with just a couple weeks ago in Toronto,” Markle said of Williams, as per E! News.

Markle has also been a supportive friend to Williams. In fact, the “Horrible Bosses” star attended New York Fashion Week this year to show her support for Williams, who graced the runway for her new collection. She even posted a photo of them together on Instagram. “My eyes are closed but my heart is so open! So proud of your new collection @serenawilliams Happy I could be there to support you xx #NYFW,” Markle wrote in the caption.

The soon-to-be-mom is also expected to walk down the aisle soon. There are speculations that Prince Harry could be Markle’s plus one to Williams’ wedding.

Speaking of weddings, Markle and Prince Harry are expected to attend Middleton’s wedding this weekend. The actress reportedly took a week-long leave from filming her hit TV series on USA Network. She’s also ready for Middleton’s nuptials. In fact, she had two separate fittings for her outfit for the wedding in Toronto as she’s expected to be with Harry during the ceremony, reception and evening afterparty.
