One of the biggest dangers in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship has been revealed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship wasn’t welcomed by everyone. Many were happy for Prince Harry and Markle, but some weren’t very warm to the couple because Markle was previously married. The couple kept their romance private in the first six months since they started dating.

Entertainment reporter Ashley Pearson shared some details about the couple’s relationship in the 2019 Amazon Prime documentary “Harry and Meghan: When Two Became Three.” She shared one of the “big dangers” in the couple’s relationship.

“One of the big dangers of their relationship was that there would be a host of publicity and host of press and then the two of them would break up,” Pearson said.

“Then both of them would be haunted by this relationship that was never meant to be.”

Many felt that Prince Harry and Markle had a whirlwind romance. Unlike Prince William and Kate Middleton who took their time before they got engaged, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex only dated for over a year before they decided to get married. However, according to Pearson, the couple was “serious” and they knew that their romance was going to last otherwise it would be “embarrassing and bad publicity for everyone” if they suddenly decided to end such a high-profile relationship.

“They knew early on it was going to be a lifelong romance, but they were very cautious and they tried to keep it under the radar to make sure before they went public,” Pearson added.

Prince Harry and Markle successfully kept their romance a secret from the public for half a year with the help of the former “Suits” star’s best friend. When the story about them dating leaked, Prince Harry was in Toronto.

They were surprised when their relationship was publicized. The prince’s aides called him that they were going to be front-page news. A story was leaked claiming that Prince Harry canceled his flight to Toronto to make it look like he was in the U.K. However, the reporters still descended to Markle’s home. To help the couple, the duchess’ best friend Jessica Mulroney kept them in her plush home.
