Prince William and Prince Harry reportedly followed in their parents’ footsteps by making secret visits as members of the royal family.

The siblings have reportedly gone on several secret hospital visits to support injured soldiers that are recovering in the hospital. In the book “Harry: Life, Loss, and Love,” author Katie Nicholl delved into the princes’ lives behind the scenes.

She said that in April 2008, the brothers went to Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham a couple of times to bond with wounded soldiers and their families. Prince Harry also visited Royal Marine Ben McBean at a recovery center in Surrey.

McBean spoke with Nicholl and said that Prince Harry was very inspiring. He also said that the Duke of Sussex has shown him and the other injured soldiers massive support and praised him for everything that he has done throughout the past couple of years.

Around the same time, Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s sons helped jumpstart the Help for Heroes charity campaign, which was aimed at raising funds for injured servicemen and women.

William and Harry catapulted the charity into a different sphere altogether. When both princes wore the charity’s wristbands at a football match, it swiftly became a household name,” Nicholl said.

Ben Parry, the founder of Help for Heroes told Nicholl that William and Harry led the way for the charity because they are empathetic and they understand the struggles of soldiers.

After successfully doing their work for the charity, Nicholl said that Prince Wiliam and Prince Harry stepped back into the shadows and returned to their military careers.

In related news, Prince William and Prince Harry also made headlines recently after it was revealed that they are the ones feuding and not their wives. Royal expert Martin Townsend told “Today” (via Express) that it is more realistic for Prince William and Prince Harry to be at odds with each other instead of saying that Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are not on good terms.
