Prince Harry’s rumored dad, James Hewitt, received tons of congratulatory messages after Meghan Markle delivered baby Archie despite having no relationship with the royal family.

On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed the arrival of their newborn son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. The members of the royal family, including Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton, expressed their delight over the newest addition to the royal family.

However, some netizens believed that another man should be congratulated, Hewitt, whom conspiracy theories claimed may be Prince Harry’s father. The former cavalry officer received a lot of “congratulations” on Twitter for becoming a grandad, Daily Star reported.

The publication shared snaps of posts online for Hewitt. “Fantastic news for Harry and Megan. And also James Hewitt for finally becoming a grandad,” one netizen wrote.

Meanwhile, others wondered if Princess Diana’s former lover was already informed about Archie’s birth. The others were asking if he would visit Prince Harry and Markle’s baby.

The rumors about Hewitt being Prince Harry’s biological father started due to their similar hair color. The speculations intensified due to this photo. In the picture, the two gentlemen looked the same with their pointed nose and smile.

Hewitt has already addressed the rumors and denied it. He recognized the fact that they have the same hair color but explained that Prince Harry was already a toddler when he met Princess Diana.

The late Princess of Wales former royal bodyguard Ken Wharfe revealed that the rumors about Prince Harry’s paternity angered Princess Diana. He also explained that Prince Harry’s red hair that most cite as a proof is not a gene from Hewitt, it’s actually a Spencer trait. Princess Diana’s brother has the same red hair color.

Spencer Stevenson, founder of SpexHair.com also provided a genetic proof about Prince Charles being Prince Harry’s biological dad. According to the hair expert, Prince Harry has the male pattern baldness (MPB) gene which is present in the Windsors but not in Hewitt.

This gene causes a widespread thinning of hair rather than a receding hairline. Prince Harry’s hair loss has been getting progressive thinner for some time which is not due to stress but genetics. This is conclusive evidence that the Duke of Sussex’s real father is Prince Charles and not Hewitt.
