Michael Jackson’s son Prince Jackson graduated from Buckley High School in Sherman Oaks, California, on Saturday. A family spokesperson confirmed the news that was first shared by his proud aunt, La Toya Jackson, on Twitter. “So very proud of @princemjjjaxon YOU DID! And you did it with Honors!!! #buckleyclassof2015,” she wrote about the teen, sharing a picture of him from his big day.

Also attending the ceremony were his grandmother, Katherine Jackson, sister Paris Jackson and younger brother Blanket. They reportedly “cheered and whistled” when Prince’s name was called. Paris was seen giving her brother a big hug for his achievement. The eldest of the three siblings was pictured wearing a black cap and gown with a red sash, according to E Online.

The King of Pop’s cousin, T.J. Jackson, 36, a member of the R&B and pop trio “3T,” was also present at the graduation ceremony along with the famous family. The singer shared a picture on Instagram showing Prince posing with his diploma alongside his uncle. His uncle captioned the picture and wrote how proud he was of Prince and that he would continue to support the lad wherever he was. T.J. was made a co-guardian of Michael’s children in 2012. Prince tweeted about his further study plans on April 29. The teen said in April that he has chosen to attend Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, adding that it was a toss-up between that school and the University of Southern California.

The 18-year-old, along with his 17-year-old sister and 13-year-old brother, were all home-schooled initially. After their father died in 2009 at age 50, the kids moved in with their grandmother near Los Angeles. A year later, Prince and Paris started attending the private Buckley School near their suburban home.

ABC News reported in 2010 that the kids were accompanied by bodyguards who waited for them outside their classrooms and followed them around the campus. Michael had also attended the Buckley School, along with his siblings, the outlet said. The late singer and his siblings also had a private tutor who traveled with them on their “Jackson 5” tours.

Meanwhile, Paris made her red carpet debut with boyfriend Chester Castellaw at Deaf West Theatre’s production of “Spring Awakening” on Thursday. She flaunted her long multitoned locks and was dressed in a comfortable-looking gray dress and lace-up boots. Chester beamed by her side in a purple shirt and tie.
