Prince William and Kate Middleton’s rare PDA has resurfaced on social media.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been together for almost 20 years. Their courtship lasted for almost a decade and they have been married for eight years already.

However, Prince William and Middleton are not as tactile as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The future king and queen consort rarely hold hands during engagements or in public outings. However, a clip of them in their sweetest moment has resurfaced ahead of their Pakistan tour.

A netizen shared an adorable video of the royal couple wrapping their arms around each other on Twitter. In the short video, the two are watching a game and they are rejoicing when Prince William suddenly turns to Middleton and grabs her waist to give her a hug. Middleton responds warmly by putting her arms around Prince William’s neck.

“We see these two lovelies tomorrow and we’re about 13 days away from the tour! I can’t wait,” the caption read, hinting about the royal couple’s Pakistan tour.

The clip was taken during the Olympics 2012 in London’s Velodrome. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were reportedly watching the track cycling finals and celebrated the British team’s gold medal victory over France.

Middleton and Prince William, who at the time were already married for a year, were very affectionate to each other. They were also spotted holding hands while watching an equestrian event, Popsugar reported.

Prince William and Middleton’s fans are already very excited for their upcoming tour. According to royal editor Russell Myers, the couple’s trip is very significant and historic.

“It’s hugely important, hugely historic,” Myers said. “Probably the biggest trip in terms of the pressure that comes with it, the security aspect and the region.”

Prince William and Middleton’s Pakistan tour is considered more challenging than Prince Harry and Markle’s trip to South Africa due to security. The hostile environment in the country makes it very risky for the royal couple. When Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles visited the country in 2006, it was also fraught with security issues.
