Prince Harry and Meghan Markle thrilled Queen Elizabeth II with their official tour.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex kicked off their tour in South Africa last week. At present, Markle and Prince Harry are carrying out separate engagements and are still continuing their trip, but many are convinced that the couple’s tour is already a huge success. In fact, even Queen Elizabeth II is reportedly thrilled with the positive PR they are receiving.

“This tour has become a brilliant success,” royal expert Neil Sean said on “Today.”

“We are hearing Her Majesty, The Queen is indeed thrilled with some positive PR. She hasn’t had the best of summers. What she likes, apparently, is the informality of this tour. We’ve seen Meghan and Harry dancing, clapping, all that sort of stuff – it’s not the sort of things the Queen would necessarily do. But she does like the fact that members of her family do interact when they are on tour.”

Sean said that the way the duke and duchess connect with the people is the reason behind its success. There are still a lot of things to look forward to for the royal couple’s tour but so far “everything has gone according to plan.”

Royal correspondent Charlotte Wace of The Mail on Sunday also said that Prince Harry and Markle’s tour is successful. She spotted signs showing that the royals have already turned things around after enduring negative headlines all year long. Sources also informed her that this time, Prince Harry and Markle are “at last really listening.“

“It’s pretty obvious to everyone that there can be no ifs, no buts, it has to go well for them. All Royal tours are traditionally fantastic opportunities to generate positive publicity, but this one really matter,” an insider told her.

Markle reportedly offered to do more engagements in South Africa while her husband visits other countries. She was advised to keep her engagements private to avoid overshadowing Prince Harry’s works and the duchess surprisingly accepted the advice without complaint.

Prior to their South Africa tour, royal biographer Penny Junor said that things were not the same for Prince Harry and Markle. She added that the couple disappointed their fans and “things have gone really wrong for them.”
