  • Prince William and Kate Middleton’s annual Christmas card gives a rare glimpse at the entire family
  • NHS workers are among the first recipients of the card
  • The card is yet to be officially released by the family

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s annual Christmas card leaked ahead of its official release. The 2020 Christmas Greeting from the Cambridge family uses a never-before-seen family photo of five.

Every year The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge send out wishes through a personalized card with a family photo that includes their three kids — Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2. Though they are skipping traditional Christmas celebrations at Sandringham Estate due to the COVID-19 pandemic this year, they continue to follow the tradition of sending out Christmas Cards.

The family seems to have chosen a winter look for their pandemic Christmas card. It features a photo where all of them are dressed in cozy sweaters as they pose in front of a huge pile of wood. George is seated next to his father, Charlotte is on her mother's lap and the youngest, Louis, is standing in the center smiling.

According to Huffingtonpost Canada, the royals are yet to release their Christmas card officially. However, the image from the card has been making rounds on social media. As per the report, the card was also shared by royal correspondent Elizabeth Holmes on her Instagram Stories.

Meanwhile, Hello noted the NHS staff is among the first to receive the wishes from the royals. It includes a personalized message from the royal couple that reads: "To all the amazing NHS staff," with the message: "Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year.”

There is also a handwritten note by their heir apparent that reads: "We can never thank you again for all the dedication and sacrifice you have had to make this year. We will be forever grateful." The card is signed by William and Catherine.

This is not the only rare sneak peek followers of the royal family got this week. Previously, the entire family stepped out for a pantomime show in honor of the essential workers for their dedicated work during the pandemic. The Cambridge family watched Pantoland at the London Palladium’s West End theatre.
