Over the weekend, Prince William and Kate Middleton attended the private christening of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s baby boy Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. While the event marked a time for celebration, the Duke of Cambridge managed to fuel feud rumors during the joyous occasion.

Following Archie’s christening, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released photos of the gathering. Although Prince William looked unhappy in the picture, one royal commentator believes the 37-year-old may end the rumored rift with his brother.

During an appearance on ITV’s “Lorraine,” Russell Myers noted that William’s facial expressions seemed to indicate that he was uncomfortable in the family photo.

“What a lovely touch from Kate Middleton, that she wore the same earrings that Diana had worn to Harry’s christening. They all look fantastic, apart from William, he looks a bit grumpy. He has been criticized a little bit,” the Daily Mirror’s Royal editor said.

Although Prince Harry may have noticed William’s appearance, Myers believes the brothers will end their rumored feud sometime in the near future. “They are knocking back during the week together, they are going to be at a polo match - maybe that will squash the beef,” he said.

As children, Harry was reportedly jealous of the attention William received. Princess Diana previously told a friend that she and Prince Charles tried to treat their child the same, despite the importance of William’s future role.

“Charles and I worked so hard to ensure both boys receive equal amounts of our time and love; others in the family seem to concentrate on William.”

As the two grew older, Prince Harry reportedly felt stuck in William’s shadow and wanted to put some distance between himself and his brother.

Now that the two have started their own families, they will be following different paths. While Prince William prepares for the day he may become King, Harry, who is sixth in the line of succession, will have more freedom to focus on his family while fulfilling royal duties.
