Prince William and Prince Harry should stop baring souls and crack on with their royal duties.

The Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex both fought against the tradition of the royal family’s “stiff upper lip.” Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s sons are advocates of mental health. However, according to Angela Levin in her 2018 biography, “Harry: Conversations with the Prince,” not everyone in the royal household was happy with their emotional approach.

“Not surprisingly some courtiers have shown concern about both Harry’s and William’s frankness in newspaper and television interviews, particularly around the twentieth anniversary of their mother’s death in August 2017,” Levin explained.

According to Levin, the courtiers are concerned that Prince Harry and Prince William’s “openness will make it even harder to protect their privacy in the future.” Royal aides also felt the same and they believed that the royal siblings should focus on their work.

“We’ve had a lot of baring of souls recently,” one aide told Levin. “There comes a point when you fell ‘come on – time to crack on with your duties’. Some worry that they are over-encouraging the media.”

Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry launched the popular “Heads Together” campaign together. They aimed to remove the stigma around mental health and wanted to encourage everyone to freely share their struggles for their mental well-being. However, earlier this year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to have a different charity following their split.

There are rumors that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are feuding with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Prince William and Prince Harry reportedly had a rift after the future king advised his younger brother to slow down with his romance with Markle. The four royals are encouraged to be civil, especially that they are now on different paths.

Prince Harry and Markle are currently enjoying their six-week break from their royal duties. The palace already announced that they will not be joining the royal family this Christmas. An insider revealed that their rumored rift with Prince William was the main reason for their decision.
