The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge admitted that they still don’t know what they’ll be doing this Christmas with their three children.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have been busy on their European tour and spoke with students when they made their Tuesday stop at Cardiff Castle. While speaking on the global pandemic and the year of 2020 in itself, they explained their problems of the season, according to Yahoo.

“It is so difficult. We are still trying to make plans. It’s difficult to know what to do for the best,” Prince William explained.

The U.K. currently has COVID-19 restrictions in place that only allow families to form “bubbles,” with three households in order to prevent the spread of the virus.

If Prince William and Kate were to spend the holiday with either of their families, with their sibling’s families included, they would be breaking that regulation.

Besides, the head of the royal family has already announced their plans for Christmas.

Queen Elizabeth, 94, and Prince Phillip, 99, have both decided to have their own Christmas in Windsor Castle, while Prince William’s father, Charles, will be staying in Highgrove with his wife, Camilla.

As for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the two will be spending Christmas in their California home with their son, reported Town & Country.

Prince William and Kate, along with their three children, can usually be seen spending Christmas with the Queen in Norfolk.

“They were trying, like the rest of us, to make Christmas plans with their family and still weren’t 100% sure of what they were going to do or where they were going to be,” Lily Faulkner, one of the students the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spoke to on Tuesday, stated.
