Princess Charlotte and Prince George’s love for dancing could be something they inherited from their dad, Prince William.

The Duke of Cambridge is very formal but friendly when he attends to his royal duties. However, when he was the same age as Prince George and Princess Charlotte, he was as playful and as naughty as them, too.

An adorable clip shared on Instagram featured Prince William dancing. According to the voiceover, Prince William was in the start line for a race. However, he found it difficult to keep still, so he showcased his dance moves before the race began.

“He was a funny boy, now he is a serious man,” one royal fan wrote with a laughing emoji.

Another said that the clip of Prince William reminded her of her 10-year-old grandson. A different user said that the future king was “too cute.”

Just like Prince William, his only daughter did the same during the RAF centenary in 2018. Princess Charlotte was spotted by the window with nanny Maria Borrallo.

In the clip, Princess Charlotte looks so adorable in her blue dress with white collar. Prince William and Kate Middleton’s little girl started dancing when she heard the music. The little royal seemed to enjoy what she was doing and continued to groove while the crowd watched.

Princess Charlotte’s love for dancing wasn’t surprising. The Duke of Cambridge had already opened up about it to Malta’s leader Joseph Muscat and his wife Michelle Muscat during the Commonwealth Day celebration.

“My daughter Charlotte loves dancing,” Prince William said. Prince William and Middleton’s eldest son also dances. Prince George’s curriculum includes ballet.

“Good Morning America” anchor Lara Spencer received an intense backlash after she mocked Prince George’s curriculum. The TV presenter already apologized and admitted that she screwed up and was deeply sorry with what she said about the little royal’s love for ballet.

It is believed that Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte have inherited their dancing prowess from Princess Diana. The late Princess of Wales also loved dancing when she was alive. Back in 1985, Princess Diana surprised the supporters of Royal Ballet including her ex-husband, Prince Charles, with a dance number.
