Prince William reportedly snubs Kate Middleton every day.

According to Alice Dear, a journalist for Express, the Duke of Cambridge has a particular gesture that disregards Middleton: not wearing his wedding ring. Of all the men in the royal family, only Prince William has reportedly opted to not wear his wedding band.

"Male members of the royal family do wear wedding rings," Emily Andrews and Omid Scobie said during the "On Heir" podcast.

"The Duke of Edinburgh has worn one, Prince Charles wore the wedding ring which he had when he married Princess Diana up until his marriage to Camilla, Prince Andrew wore one until he got divorced from Sarah Ferguson and I think Prince Edward wears one," Andrews added.

Andrews pointed out that only Prince William doesn't wear his ring. This reportedly started on their wedding day when the Prince gifted his wife a ring during the ceremony, but she did not return one to him. However, the palace spokesman denied this.

"There is only going to be one ring, in accordance with the couple’s wishes," the spokesman said.

English journalist and author Penny Junor claimed that the real reason behind the snub is simply because of Prince William's preference. The duke has already announced that "he doesn't like [jewelry]."

Initially, many were wondering if Prince Harry would wear his wedding ring like the senior royals, or if he would follow his older brother. Back then, many were convinced that he would.

"I think he will, I think he likes displays of affection and love, and him and Meghan have been so candid and open with their romantic moments," Scobie said.

In September, the Duke of Sussex was even spotted fiddling with his wedding ring. According to body language expert Judi James, the gesture has something to do with his emotional state.

“Men are often seen fiddling with their wedding rings,” James said. “In Harry’s case, this looks like a self-comfort ritual performed for two reasons, when he's feeling under pressure or lonely.”

James reasoned out that it's a defensive act, but royal fans should not be worried. Touching and playing the wedding ring suggests that he is missing the back-up and support of his wife, since Markle was not present on the said event.

However, James added that it would mean a different thing if Prince Harry pulled the ring up and down his finger. That would "signal a rift or potential divorce."

In related news, despite the reported rift among Prince William, Middleton, Prince Harry and Markle, they will still be spending the holidays together. Contrary to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be in Sandringham with the Queen and the rest of the members of the Firm.
