  • Prince Charles and Prince William's relationship could reach a breaking point
  • Prince Harry could no longer help fix Prince Charles and Prince William's relationship
  • Prince Charles and Prince William are not close

Prince Charles and Prince William’s relationship could be in danger now that Prince Harry will no longer always be around.

According to Express, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s departure from the royal family could only mean that Prince Charles and Prince William will be left dealing with their work-related issues by themselves.

The publication claimed that Prince Charles was never really close to his sons especially after the death of Princess Diana. But over the years, things improved between the three male royals.

Prince Harry was the one who encouraged Prince William to patch things up with their father. Meghan Markle’s husband was also the one who asked Prince William to welcome Prince Charles into the lives of his grandchildren, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Now that Prince Harry will no longer be considered a working royal, he is expected to focus more on his marriage and family over his father and brother’s relationship. Prince Charles and Prince William would have to fend for themselves in this regard.

According to Daily Mail, Prince Charles is very upset over the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision to quit their royal duties because he knows that it would be partially blamed on him.

“He feels it will be seen as another mess on his doorstep: first the disaster over the mother, now the disaster over the mother’s son,” a source said.

Prince Charles is currently retreating in Birkhall in an attempt to stay away from the ongoing issues between his sons and daughters-in-law. The future king also stayed in Birkhall following the death of Princess Diana. And he also spent some time there following the death of the Queen Mother in 2002.

As of late, it is still unclear when Prince Charles will return to London to address the ongoing issues. But he reportedly attended the crisis talks organized by Queen Elizabeth in Sandringham last week.
