Princess Anne is a loving and doting grandmother to all four of her grandchildren.

On Saturday, Princess Royal was photographed taking a stroll with her three older grandchildren during the second day of the Gatcombe Festival of Eventing in Gloucestershire.

In the photo, Princess Anne is wearing a long-sleeved polo shirt and vest, which she paired with her khaki pants and shoes. Her hair is neatly tied in a bun. Walking beside her is her granddaughter, Lena, who is the eldest child of Mike and Zara Tindall.

Beside Lena are Isla Phillips and Savannah Phillips, the two daughters of Peter Phillips and Autumn Phillips. While walking outdoors, Princess Anne’s head is turned towards her three grandchildren. By the look of it, she was chatting with them.

Princess Anne’s photo with her three adorable grandkids is reminiscent of one video featuring Queen Elizabeth II and her grandchildren, Prince William, Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and Princess Anne’s kids.

In a newly-unearthed video, the royals are taking a stroll outside Balmoral. Princess Anne’s daughter is riding a horse just like her brother. Princess Beatrice is also riding a horse, but hers is much smaller than her older cousins.

And since Princess Eugenie was still very young at that time, the Queen held her hand while they were walking on the grounds of her vacation home in Scotland.

Another video of the Queen shows her adorably running after Prince William during Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s royal wedding. Even though she is the head of the monarchy and is respected across the globe, Her Majesty is a very hands-on and loving grandmother and great-grandmother.

She also has a special relationship with the son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Two days after Archie was born, the Queen was photographed lovingly staring at her youngest great-grandson.

The Queen is also quite close to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, the three children of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
