Many followers of the Royal family are thrilled about the upcoming wedding of Princess Beatrice, 31, and Edoardo Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi, 36. At the moment, the couple is said to be preparing for their big day. Now, it is being suggested that Queen Elizabeth is likely to attend the ceremony after Sarah Ferguson revealed a very important detail about the wedding.

Previous reports claimed that Queen Elizabeth, 93, might ditch Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mozzi’s wedding should the couple decide to have it in Italy. Royal expert Ingrid Seward stated that the sister of Princess Eugenie wants to have the ceremony in the country where her fiancé is from. She added that the queen is very much unlikely to travel to Europe for the wedding due to her hectic schedule and advanced age.

However, this might not be the case after Sarah Ferguson teased that Princess Beatrice and the British property developer are likely to hold their nuptials in the United Kingdom. This is despite the fact that the couple got engaged in Italy. Express reported that the wife of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, made the announcement in an interview during the British Film Institute (BFI) Luminous Gala.

The Duchess of York also expressed joy after Princess Beatrice announced her engagement to Edoardo Mozzi. "It's just extraordinary, she's just such a beauty and to see her eyes shining,” Sarah said. "I've known him all my life [sic]. His brother is my godson. I'm so proud, and I've known Edo since he was four, and he's got a lovely mum. It's really, really good news," the 59-year-old television personality added when asked about her future son-in-law.

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mozzi first went public with their romance in December 2018. They dated for a while before Edoardo popped the question on Sept. 26, 2019, and asked Beatrice to marry him. The couple is set to tie the knot in 2020.

Speculations are rife that Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mozzie are likely to have an extensive royal guest list, considering their family backgrounds and wide network of friends. Among the personalities expected to attend the upcoming wedding are her cousins, Prince William and Princes Harry, alongside their wives, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, respectively.
