KEY POINTS

  • Princess Beatrice and Sarah Ferguson are opposites
  • Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are different from one another
  • Princess Beatrice's royal wedding is taking a backseat amid all of the scandals

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie couldn’t be more different from one another. As such, the wedding of Prince Andrew’s eldest child will be different from her younger sister.

On the “Royals” podcast, royal expert Angela Mollard said that she feels sorry for Princess Beatrice because her wedding will definitely be much smaller than Princess Eugenie’s nuptials. However, this may not necessarily be an issue to her.

“They are completely different sisters. Beatrice is the elder more subdued, quieter, more serious, shyer sister. Eugenie is far more outgoing and sociable so she potentially would have wanted her wedding broadcast,” she said.

Mollard went on to say that Princess Eugenie even went as far as making a statement on her wedding day when she wore a dress that showed off her scoliosis scar. She also wants to talk about her life, but Princess Beatrice doesn’t.

The eldest of the two is reportedly the opposite of her mom, Sarah Ferguson. The Duchess of York was always in the limelight when she first started dating Prince Andrew. Princess Beatrice, on the other hand, wants to have a quiet life.

As such, there are some speculations on the possibility of Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi tying the knot in a villa in Italy. Holding their nuptials outside of London may be more sensible especially after Prince Andrew got embroiled in a sexual scandal.

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice’s wedding is reportedly taking a backseat amid all of the scandals involving the other members of the royal family. Even though she was first to announce her engagement, not many details have been reported about her big day.

However, more stories about Prince Andrew, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle’s exit have been published. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex just announced their decision to step back from their royal duties. And there are claims suggesting that Markle, who is currently in Canada, will no longer return to London.
