Princess Beatrice is worried that Meghan Markle will upstage her on her royal wedding.

Princess Beatrice is tying the knot with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on May 29. There are rumors that she might snub Prince Harry and Markle on her special day. However, an expert said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be invited and they have no reason to skip the event.

Royal expert Camilla Tominey said that Prince Harry and Markle’s presence threatens the next royal bride because more might talk about the Sussexes than the bride and groom.

“This is tiny. Imagine being in Westminster Abbey where [Prince] William and Kate [Middleton] got married. This is tiny. Imagine being in Westminster Abbey where [Prince] William and Kate [Middleton] got married. It’s going to be very low key,” Tominey said of Princess Beatrice before she discussed about her royal wedding guests.

“Obviously they have to invite them [Prince Harry and Markle], but they’re going to be worried. There’s no reason why they wouldn’t go, they are still family. But as the bride, she might be worried by a bit of upstaging.“

A source revealed earlier that there was tension between the York princesses and the Sussexes and Princess Beatrice was reportedly considering not inviting Prince Harry and Markle on her big day. The rumored feud allegedly started when Markle announced her pregnancy on Princess Eugenie’s wedding day and stole the bride’s thunder. Several sources said it wasn’t true. However, some believed that it was true and it even became a topic on social media.

“As soon as Harry and Meghan officially confirmed their pregnancy via Instagram as they began their tour to Australia days after Eugenie’s wedding, you'll recall that her mum [Sarah Ferguson] dropped a treasure trove of Eugenie's wedding pics just hours after,” a source added. “It was obviously done on purpose as revenge.”

However, the Queen reportedly wanted the royal family to put on a united front in the upcoming royal event. An insider told The Sun that Her Majesty asked everyone to come together and put on a united front on Princess Beatrice big day and make it “the big event that brings the family back together again.”
