Princess Beatrice is reportedly furious due to the delay of her royal wedding.

Last year, the palace announced that Princess Beatrice is already engaged to her fiance Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Previous reports claimed that the couple would announce their wedding date in January, but at the time, it remains unknown when the next royal wedding will be held.

According to Dan Wootton of The Sun, the royal bride is “furious” over further delays of her wedding plans. Princess Beatrice has been forced to put off announcing her wedding date twice due to royal scandals.

The royal family has faced various controversies lately, from her father Prince Andrew’s Epstein scandal to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to step down from their royal roles. At present, there is no wedding date and wedding venue yet. But the Queen is reportedly planning to unite the members of the royal family on that day.

The Queen has asked everyone to come together to put on a united front,” a source told the publication.

“The press officers of all the palaces hope to portray the Beatrice wedding as the big event that brings the family back together again. Aides know this will be a tough job, but it’s all they can do not just to save the wedding, but potentially the monarchy’s reputation.”

Also, the family is planning to ask guests for charitable donations instead of wedding gifts just like what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did when they tied the knot in May 2018. Richard Eden of Daily Mail also said earlier that Princess Beatrice’s big day will not be happening in Windsor.

Initial reports claim that it will be in St. George’s Chapel in Windsor like Prince Harry and Markle’s, and Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s. Even if the next royal wedding will not be in Windsor, it was reportedly okay with Princess Beatrice since the monarch offered to have the wedding reception at Buckingham Palace.

“Bea was delighted and very grateful to accept,” a source told Eden. “It was a really special gesture as it will be the first wedding celebration at Buckingham Palace since William and Catherine’s in 2011.”

Another insider said that Queen Elizabeth II doesn’t want her to be affected by Prince Andrew’s scandal. Her Majesty wanted to protect her granddaughter, so she would not suffer in any way from the troubles her dad has been enduring in months.
