Princess Charlotte looked adorable in a designer dress when she joined her family for an outing earlier this week.

Kate Middleton and Prince William took Prince George, 5, and Princess Charlotte, 3, along to the fairgrounds of the Burnham Market international horse trials in Norfolk over the weekend where they enjoyed a day out as a family. For their outing, Princess Charlotte wore a gingham designer dress from Spanish brand Irulea that is said to have cost £90 ($117), according to Daily Mail. She paired the dress with woolly tights and a dark blue quilted jacket that matched her mom's.

While Princess Charlotte looked like a mini-Kate, her older brother Prince George was their father Prince William's mini-me that day. The father-son duo wore matching ensembles consisting of khaki jackets, dark jeans and Nike trainers.

Specifically, Prince George donned a khaki green fleece Columbia jacket, which reportedly cost $32, and $40 NikeCourt Royale trainers.

Their parents' outfits were a little more expensive, though the two mixed up high street and designer brands. And unlike previous royal generations who chose traditional tweeds when attending country events, the royal couple opted for more modern and down-to-earth styles.

Middleton ditched her usual dresses and high heels for a $208 Barbour jacket, $44 TopShop shirt and $235 Berghaus boots and $143 Ray-Ban sunglasses.

Prince William, meanwhile, opted to recycle his khaki cargo jacket from a 2016 outing in Canada and the $99 Nike trainers he previously wore during a polo match at the Gloucestershire Festival in June 2017. He paired the look with a flat cap that matched the color of his jacket and navy jeans.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children were joined by Mike Tindall and Zara Phillips, as well as their daughters Mia and Lena Tindall.

While her cousins opted for darker and more neutral colors, Mia brightened up the event with her purple Patagonia down-filled jacket, sequin-embellished H&M leggings and glittery trainers. She paired her adorable ensemble with a white baseball cap with a pink heart design.

Prince George seemed to get along well with his same-age cousin Mia, even playfully comparing their heights at one point.

“It could have been they were measuring up against each other. But they were all just messing about and playing and joking while their parents chatted,” a witness told People.

“They had been watching Zara (an accomplished equestrian) competing in the showjumping, from the top of a hill and then all ran down a hill together,” the onlooker added. “They were playing together all. Mia will make friends with anybody!”
