Princess Diana could play an important role in mending the relationship between the Cambridges and the Sussexes if only she were still alive.

While speaking with Page Six, royal photographer Jayne Fincher claimed that the Princess of Wales would’ve played the role of peacemaker between her sons and daughters-in-law. The late royal would’ve also been devastated over the royals’ lengthy feud.

“She’d be shaking the boy’s heads together saying, ‘For goodness sake. What’s going on here?’ and I think she’d be trying to make peace between the girls, too,” she said.

Fincher also claimed that Prince Charles must have also been devastated because of his sons and daughters-in-law’s relationship.

“Charles must be broken-hearted because he’s extremely close to those boys... That must be very devastating for him,” Fincher said.

The royal photographer, who has worked for the royal family for 20 years, recalled how Prince William and Prince Harry used to do everything together. He also said that the royal siblings used to be very close.

But as they got older, Prince William and Prince Harry grew up to become more and more different from each other. They have different interests, and they have also made very different choices in life. The royal siblings’ roles are also very different.

When they were younger, the Duke of Sussex wasn’t perturbed by the media and the photographers. It was the Duke of Cambridge who always kept his head down like Princess Diana when his photos were being taken.

Meanwhile, Prince William and Middleton also made headlines this week after they were accused of ramping up their Instagram war with Prince Harry and Markle. On “True Royalty TV,” royal expert Sophia Money-Coutts reacted to the Cambridges sharing a loved-up photo on their social media account.

“Harry and Meghan hold hands the whole time, so it was a sort of ‘so can we, we’re in love too.’ It’s sweet, it’s a lovely, lovely picture but I just can’t imagine they would have done that maybe a few years ago. It’s in the ramping up of the Instagram war or something,” she said.
