Priyanka Chopra recently revealed what keeps her marriage to Nick Jonas alive and thriving. The couple just celebrated their third wedding anniversary and the Indian actor, 39, said honesty and enjoying each other's company is the secret to their marriage.

"I think just being honest and needing each other’s company, obviously," Chopra said in an interview with ET! Online. "Communication, having fun with each other. I think that's the most important key, is to be able to enjoy each other's company and just have a good time," she added.

"And it doesn't feel like work," she said.

The couple tied the knot in a series of lavish ceremonies in Jodhpur, a city in the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan, on Dec. 1, 2018.

While speaking to Access, the "Quantico" star revealed that along with making the most in each other's company, the two of them support each other immensely.

"My husband's very special. He's the most encouraging man, after my dad that I've probably come across and one of my biggest champions," she said, adding: "What makes my husband, to me, the most special is how much of a champion of mine he is."

She then gushed about how Jonas, 29, is excited for her to be part of the Keanu Reeves-starring movie, "The Matrix Resurrections."

"My husband has seen the movie, so he loves it," Chopra shared. "And I think just for everyone, whether it's my mom, my extended family, my husband, I think it's just the excitement around being a part of something that we all sort of grew up on, it's an exciting time leading up to the premiere."

As for her Christmas plans, Chopra revealed she and Jonas will be celebrating by buying gifts for loved ones and participating in secret Santa exchanges.

"I do secret Santa mostly on set or with your team, and stuff like that. At home, we buy presents for everyone but we're really behind on presents this year too because I'm working until almost the 21st," she said. "The husband's taken all the responsibility right now to kind of buy the gifts, but I love Christmas. I've recently inherited it properly."

"The Matrix Resurrections" hits theaters and HBO Max on Dec. 22.
