Producer Prices Rise 0.4% In February - Less Than Expected
Producer prices rose 0.4 percent in February -- slightly less than the Bloomberg consensus estimate of 0.5 percent, the U.S. Labor Department announced Thursday.
Meanwhile, the core rate -- which excludes the often-volatile food and energy component - rose 0.2 percent -- in-line with the consensus estimate.
