Queen Elizabeth II will likely receive the support she needs this Christmas from one of her grandchildren but it’s neither Prince Willian nor Prince Harry.

The monarch has a difficult year due to the various scandal plaguing the members of the royal family. In fact, some consider 2019 as the Queen’s “annus horribilis 2.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle faced continuous criticisms from their luxurious lifestyle, obsession with privacy and emotional interview complaining about their royal lives. The Queen’s favorite son Prince Andrew has been plagued with Epstein scandal for months and just recently the Duke of York announced that he would be stepping down from his royal duties.

According to Express, the Queen will likely receive the support she needs from one of her grandchildren. The publication noted that the Queen will be celebrating Christmas in Norfolk and Zara and Mike Tindall have been regulars at the festive family gathering.

Ingrid Seward revealed earlier that the Queen shares a tighter bond with Zara and Mike compared to Prince William and Kate Middleton. Her Majesty has always adored Princess Anne’s daughter and is very proud of her riding success. They also share a lot of things in common especially when it comes to their passion for horses. Thus, the Queen can rely on Zara for her difficult year.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are also expected to join the Queen on Christmas. However, the palace announced earlier that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not be spending the holidays with the royal family.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided to spend the event with the duchess’ mom Doria Ragland in California. The couple reportedly wanted it to be extra special because it’s their son Archie’s first Christmas.

Meanwhile, an insider said that Prince Harry and Markle’s alleged rift with Prince William was among the reasons the couple wanted to spend Christmas away from the royals. For months, there have been rumors that the royal princes have been feuding due to Markle. Prince Harry reportedly didn’t like it when his older brother told him to slow down with his romance with Markle.
